The “STR” - Speed Through Research - urethane formula optimizes
the performance of the off-set, 70 mm wheels. In other words, these wheels
are fast! The design and development of the Tarantula wheels and the new
urethane compound has been a collaboration of many dedicated people. Mike
at Tunnel, founder Mitch Haake, and the wheel and urethane experts at
AEND Industries have all had a part. In addition, Oregon’s Longboard
Larry and his racers as well as Canada’s Lee Cation have done testing
and added input. The Racing Tarantulas are poured in 78A and 76A STR racing
urethane with an eye-grabbing red and black swirl in 78 duro or green
and yellow swirl in 76 duro. Please select color and hardness choice at

The highly anticipated new Tunnel Tarantula's have arrived! These beauties are 70mm tall, feature an off set bearing seat and are poured with premium grade USA urethane. The off set bearing seat allows for more traction and control, the taller height equates to more speed and with four hardnesses to choose from, why wouldn't you pick up a set? These wheels are a year in the making and the end results are well worth the wait. For recreational long boarding or competitive downhill, Tunnel's new Tarantulas are spot on. Avaialble in: 75d - trans blue, 78d - trans red, 82d - trans amber, 84d - solid orange. Please specify color and hardness at checkout.
Great new addition to the already fantastic line of wheels from Tunnel. These new softer 75 durometer Rocks will smooth out the roughest of roads and hug the pavement like glue. Same great quality wheel and shape with a new softer urethane.
Mike and John over at Tunnel Skateboards have been busy mixing up a new hardness for all the Tunnel Rock freaks out there. Their new translucent orange Rocks are 82 durometer and have the same great quality you have come to know from the guys at Tunnel.
Same great flat-backed shape as the other harder Tunnel Rocks but in a softer durometer and a more authentic translucent red color. This is a fantastic new addition to the Tunnel line up!
