I got my 77 Alva a few weeks ago, what a fun ride. Just wanted to say thnx for this awesome board the xtra stickers and dvd. It's cold as shit and snow everywere but I still get out when it's dry.

About 2 years ago I ordered a set of Yellow Magnesium Trackers from you, I don't quite remember exactly but there was a hang-up or something with the order, I received 2 emails from Buddy himself assuring me not to worry, I didn't and only waited 2 weeks or less. I was so impressed I even got a hand written note from Buddy. Fast forward to the first of this month I ordered a complete warp tail and pool king board bag, my purchase upon arrival exceeded my expectation. Hi Buddy, I just want to say that I was extremely positively surprised when I woke up this Saturday morning and checked my e-mails and saw that you had answered the e-mail I sent to TailTap just before I went to bed last night. It made me so happy even though the message was sad, because the deck I wanted is no longer produced. I have sent e-mails to other American skate companies over the last couple of years and have gotten disappointed as they often don't answer at all, even after reminders.

You also answered in a really friendly way and offered me advice and help to set up a board that would suit me. Your answer really made me feel that we're all part of a great community, not just customers and vendors:-)

I've actually had it for over a week but because of a minor injury I haven't really been able to ride it yet. However, I just got back from the skate park and I am totally stoked. There is no substitution for quality and that OMA deck is dripping with it. I was riding a Sports Authority special. Is it my imagination or has deck quality increased substatially over the last 18 years (when I last purchased and rode anything indicative of the then current "quality" decks)? Just on looks alone, of the OMA "Old Style", with its swoops and curves of the tail and nose and the deep pockets of the concave this thing belongs in the Modern Museum of Art.

I'm so grateful for having found you guys online and it's so comforting knowing there is someone out there catering to born agains and diehards.

I just got back from the Oregon trifecta where I got the chance to try the bennett alligators I got from you. They deliver on the promise of rebound and springiness that many others advertise but fall way short on. They are at home on the pavement of city streets. I used my long board for basic transport every where I went and these wheels never surprised me or let me down. This was very important after breaking the small bone in my left fore arm again at holly farm on my park board. Hand poured and worth the money! Now I need some 99 or 101 duro 62 mm park wheels that can grip that polished dream land concrete! Thanks buddy.

Buddy, I did get the box yesterday. You guys at Tailtap are awesome. Tailtap rules! I will build the DTS with classic tracker trucks just like I had in 1978. The riser pads and mounting screws were missing but I can take care of that. I will be calling Tailtap again to order the 30'' Jay Adams Z-flex fiberglass reissue when they are released. I hope they don't cost an arm and a leg.

Hi all at www.TailTap.com. I got my Buddy Carr deck and the Jaw Bone and Edger Grip. The deck is the nicest I have seen in many years, the concave is superb. Thanks for shipping the Lester deck to me! I've been skating for 21 years and it was my first pro deck that I ever got. I worshipped not only the deck but Lester too. He was my favourite skater of all time and when I heard they re-issued the leaf board, I nearly had a heartattack.

My stuff arrived last Friday - 5 working days from the US to AUS is fantastic!!

I would love to tell you that I have put the deck together and taken it for a rip, unfortunately my wife has decided the box should stay intact, have some fancy paper put around it and sit under the Christmas tree until December 25. Not that I am counting but there is only 12 more sleeps - this reminds me of Christmas '78 when I sent a letter to the fat man in red asking for my first set of Kryptonics (70mm greens). Still got 'em and session them every now and then.

Who would have thought at 41 I would still be stoked on the same stuff I was as a 15 year old.

Hope the fat dude in red pyjamas finds something nice in his bag for you too.

Hi, I arrived home on Monday to find that my Powell Vato deck had arrived all the way from the USA, I couldn't wait to open it....As soon as it was out of the cardboard it instantly took me back to the eighties and when I first started skating. Getting hold of any board other than the usually 'modern' shapes is not that easy in this country, so finding you guys was amazing (and the total cost was about what I would have to pay over here).
